Whitaker - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal September 24, 1965 Services For D. T. Whitaker Set For Today Funeral services for D. T. Whitaker, 84, who died late Tuesday at Madison Parish Hospital will be held today (Friday) in Crothers Funeral Home Chapel at 3 p. m. with the Rev. Bobby Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Silver Cross Cemetery. He was a native of Alabama, a retired farmer, member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, two sons, William, Tallulah; and Orvel, Ft. Worth, Texas; three daughters, Miss Ella Mae Whitaker, Tallulah; Mrs. Sadie Babi, Denver, Colo.; and Mrs. Beatrice Thornton, DeRidder; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Dell Allen, Ross Murphy, R. E. Everhart, Carl Roberson, Johnny Mosby and Bobby Allen.
