Whitaker - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, May 24, 1989 Funeral services for Mrs. Audrey M. Whitaker, 76, were at 2 p.m. Friday at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Duewayne Tullos officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Whitaker died Thursday at the North Monroe Community Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was a native of Mississippi and a longtime resident of Tallulah. She was a homemaker and a member of the Tallulah Parkview Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Roy Whitaker of Tallulah; one daughter, Edna Fondren of Tallulah; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were William Fondren, Lloyd Fondren, Edward Scurria, Sam Scurria, Tommy Dunning and Richard Marshall.
