All rights reserved. *********************************************************************************************** Philip Westmoreland - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Monroe News-Star April 1, 1954 TALLULAH, April 1 (Special) — Funeral services for Phillip [sic Philip] Westmoreland, 15-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis [sic Louie] Westmoreland, Tallulah, who died in a New Orleans hospital after a long illness, were held at the Crothers Funeral chapel today at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. C. A. Williams officiating. Interment were [sic was] in the Silver Cross cemetery. Phillip [sic Philip] was a member of the Baptist Church and a former student of Tallulah High School. Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Billy and Jimmy Westmoreland. Pallbearers were members of the Louisiana Highway Department of the Tallulah area.
