All rights reserved. ************************************************ Jimmie George Stark - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post August 11, 2003 TALLULAH - Lottie "Shine" Westmoreland died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2003, at Olive Branch Senior Care Center in Tallulah. She was 83. Born in Waverly, La., Mrs. Westmoreland had lived in Madison Parish all her life. She was employed for a number of years at Delta Haven Nursing Home and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Corley B. Westmoreland, and a son, John G. Burns. She is survived by three sons, Ludia P. Westmoreland, Burney M. Westmoreland and Charles Wayne Westmoreland, all of Tallulah; three daughters, Doris Glass of Tallulah, Delores Cole of Shreveport, La., and Doris Jean McHenry of Friendswood, Texas; and 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
