All rights reserved. ************************************************ Burney Rock Westmoreland - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, August 27, 2004 TALLULAH — Burney Rock Westmoreland died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2004, at his home in Tallulah. He was 68. A lifelong resident of Tallulah, Mr. Westmoreland was a member of First Baptist Church. He managed Three Rivers Co-op in Ferriday, La., and was a district representative for Hart Seed Co. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Le’Evelyn Westmoreland of Tallulah; three daughters, Le’Eleanor Westmoreland of Tallulah, Celeste Thames of Sondheimer and Stephanie Hulsey of Birmingham, Ala.; and two grandsons. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Tallulah with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at Mr. Westmoreland’s home, 907 Liberty St. in Tallulah. Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah has charge of arrangements.
