Wells - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, July 18, 1985 Homer E. Wells, 75, died Saturday at Madison Parish Hospital after a short illness. Services were at 2 p.m. Monday at Crothers Funeral Home chapel in Tallulah with the Revs. O.B. Robertson and Glen Alexander officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. He was a native of Winnsboro and a resident of Tallulah for the past 13 years. Survivors include five sons, Cecil Wells and Henry Wells, both of Tallulah, Charles Wells of Fort Worth, Texas, and James Wells of Bandera, Texas, and John Wells of Springdale, Ark.: one daughter, Mrs. Rosemary Busby of Tallulah; two brothers. Jack Wells of Houston and Merle Wells of Las Vegas: 20 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were James Steele, Tommy Jobe, Bobby E. Clark, Melvin Clark, Gary Killingsworth and Bernie Jobe.
