Weems will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Scarf officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah with Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in charge. Visitation will be from 5:30 until 8:30 tonight at the funeral home. Mr. Weems died Monday, Nov. 29, 1993, at Madison Parish Hospital. He was 74. He was a native of Mississippi and had lived in Tallulah for 50 years. He was a retired soil conservation employee and was on the board of directors of the First United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Hemphill Weems of Tallulah; one son, Sam Weems of Baton Rouge; his daughter, Sue Fairbanks of Tallulah; a sister, Ercell King of Lake Providence; and seven grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons. From Tallulah Madison Journal December 1, 1993 Funeral services for Mr. Tracey A. Weems, 77, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. John Scarf officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Mr. Weems died Monday at the Madison Parish Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Carthage, Miss. and had lived in Tallulah for 44 years. He was a retired soil scientist for the Soil Conservation Service and was on the administrative board of directors of the First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Juanita Hemphill Weems of Tallulah; one son, Sam Weems of Baton Rouge; one daughter; Sue Fairbanks of Tallulah; one sister; Ercell King of Lake Providence and seven grandchildren. Grandsons served as pallbearers.
