Waugh Madison Parish, LA From The Monroe News-Star (LA), Monday, October 29, 1973 TALLULAH - Funeral services for R. G. Waugh, 67, of Tallulah were held at 10 a.m. today at Tallulah Methodist Church with the Rev. David Corey officiating. Burial was in the Providence Memorial Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. Mr. Waugh died Saturday at his office apparently of a heart attack. He was a native of Goodman, Miss., and a resident of Madison Parish for 32 years. An officer of the Madison Parish Veteran's Service, he was a member of the Methodist church and American Legion. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Evelyn Waugh of Tallulah; one daughter, Mrs. Gail Wells of Austin, Tex.; two brothers, Wiggins Waugh of Michigan and the Rev. W. D. Waugh of Long Beach, Miss.; one sister, Mrs. Martha Carter of Sallis, Miss.; two grandchildren. Pallbearers were R. E. Fowler, Maurice Ursery, Johnny Stocks, Tommy Leoty, Harry Placke and J. T. Kirk.
