All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Evelyn Waugh - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal July 21, 1993 Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Waugh, 80, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. John Scarf and Rev. W. D. Waugh officiating. Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Mrs. Waugh died Friday at the Vicksburg Medical Center. She was a native of McAdams, Miss. and was a resident of Tallulah for more than 50 years. She was a retired school teacher in the Madison Parish elementary school system and a member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include one daughter Gail Waugh Wells of Austin, Tex.; one brother, Doyle McAdams of Pascagoula, Miss.; four sisters, Geneva Conner of Pascagoula, Lovie Miller of Koscuisko, Miss., Jean Burrell of Durant, Miss. and Fay Aldy of Starkville, Miss.; and two grandsons. Pallbearers were Lane Randall, Dale Placke, Calvin Adams, Allan Godfrey, Gene Cox and Carroll T Crow. Honorary pallbearers were R. E. Fowler, W. B. Williams, J. W. Deason, Granville Harris, Tommy Leoty, Billy Windham, James D. Caldwell, John Earl Martin and Marshall Sevier. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Tallulah.
