All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Helene Roy Watson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, December 16, 1976 Funeral services for Mrs. Helene Roy Watson 59, of Tallulah, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ned Stout officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mrs. Watson died Sunday at her home in Tallulah after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Wilkinson County, Miss., a resident of Tallulah for the past 52 years and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Tallulah. Survivors include her husband, Charles Eugene Watson of Tallulah; one son, Charles E. Watson Jr. of Alto Loma, Tex.; her mother, Mrs. Beulah Ashley Roy of Tallulah; three brothers, J. T. Roy and Lucian M. Roy, both of Tallulah and Max A. Roy of Iowa City, Iowa. Pallbearers were Thomas Miller, Donald Walker, Wayne Williams, J. W. Wilson, C. L Keene and Kirby Parker.
