Watson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal July 8, 1971 Earnest L. Watson, 81, of Tallulah, died Sunday night in a Vicksburg, Miss. hospital after a brief illness. He was a native of St. Joseph but had been a resident of Tallulah for 30 years. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion. He was a nephew of the late Jeff B. Snyder, former district attorney from Tallulah. Funeral services were at 10:30 a. m. Tuesday at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James L. Adams officiating. Survivors include a niece, Mrs. W. K. Anderson of Clarksdale, Miss., and two cousins, Miss Marjorie Davidson and Mrs. Arthur Taylor, both of St. Joseph.
