All rights reserved. ******************************************************************************************** Cecil Eugene Watkins - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Tallulah, LA October 4, 2016 Cecil Eugene Watkins February 5, 1925 - October 2, 2016 Funeral services for Mr. Cecil "Gene" Watkins, age 91, will be Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at the chapel at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah. Visitation will be one hour before the service from 10 to 11 A.M. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors. Mr. Watkins was a WWII veteran with Purple Heart honors. He was a retired La DOTD machine operator. He had lived in Tallulah most of his life. He is preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Lillian Watkins, his parents, Henry and Bertha Watkins, two brothers, Sherman and Glen Watkins, three sisters, Shirley Reed, Elvie Faulkner, and Doris Watkins. Survivors include one son, Robbie Watkins and wife Sandi, two grandsons, Neil and Colin, two sisters, Marie Brown and Leda Moore, and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Neil and Colin Watkins, Edgar Keyes, Eddie Keyes, Joe Jobe, Bill Deweese, and Steven Ingle. Honorary pallbearers will be John Harris and Jim Tamburo.
