Washburn - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal February 11, 1998 Funeral services for Marion W. Washburn, age 90, of Tallulah, were held 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 9, in the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gary Patience officiating. Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery, Tallulah. Mr. Washburn died Saturday, Feb. 7, 1998. Born in Winona, Miss., Mr. Washburn had been a resident of Tallulah since 1937. He was the retired manager of Perry Lumber Company of Tallulah. Mr. Washburn was a charter member of the Tallulah Rotary Club and a member of Masonic Lodge 308. He was retired secretary/treasurer of the Madison Parish Hospital Service District and a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. Survivors include his wife, Maggie Louise Washburn of Tallulah; and a son, James W. Washburn of Tallulah. Pallbearers were Bill Zuccaro, Chris Friis, Martin Verhagen, Anthony Edward Zuccaro Sr. and Charles Zuccaro. Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah was in charge of arrangements.
