All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Margaret Ward - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, October 16, 1975 Funeral services for Miss Margaret Ward of Monroe were held Tuesday in Trinity Episcopal Church, Father Joel C. Treadwell officiating. Burial was held in Silver Cross Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. Miss Ward died Monday morning at St. Francis Hospital in Monroe after a short illness. Miss Ward was born on Crescent Plantation in 1905 and was a retired registered nurse. She received her training at Teuro Infirmary, New Orleans. She was stationed at the Army-Navy Hospital in Hot Springs, Ark., for 15 years. She lived in a St. Joseph Nursing Home, Monroe for 12 years. Survivors include a sister, Miss Anne Ward of Tallulah. Pallbearers were R. R. Mitchell, Edward Eiland, Jack Millikin, M. A. Phillips. Boone Halbach, Donald B. Lancaster, and Maxwell Yerger.
