All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Katherine Sevier Ward - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, June 15, 1978 Funeral services were held Tuesday for Miss Katherine Sevier Ward, 74, of Tallulah, at Tallulah Trinity Episcopal Church with Robert Saul officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Miss Ward died Sunday at Vicksburg Hospital in Vicksburg, after a brief illness. She was a native of Tallulah and a resident for most of her life, a retired registrar of voters, a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church and the Tallulah Book Club. Survivors include one brother, W. H. Ward of Rapid City, S.D. Pallbearers were Calvin Adams, Bill Adams, H. C. Sevier, Jr., Fred Wyly, Jack Millikin, Harry Holt, Barton Sevier and Ed Eiland.
