All rights reserved. *********************************************************************************************** Robert Lamar Walters - Madison Parish, Louisiana From The Monroe News-Star (LA), Monday, November 17, 1947 TALLULAH, Nov. 17. - (Special) - Robert Lamar Walters, 5-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Walters, died at a Vicksburg hospital Sunday morning of diphtheria two hours after admission to the hospital. Funeral services are incomplete pending the arrival of the child's father, who is employed by a dredging company at Aruba, an island on the coast of Venezuela. Surviving besides the parents are two sisters, Marie and Betty Sue, who with their mother reside at Mound, Louisiana.
