Walker - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal June 8, 1972 Final rites held for Mrs. Walker Mrs. Lillie M. Walker, 73, of Tallulah, died Tuesday unexpectedly at the home of her grandson, Mickey Cleveland of Monroe. Funeral services were at 5:30 p. m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Tallulah with the Revs. T. H. Mercer and Lonnie Mayo officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. Mrs. Walker was a native of Rapides Parish and had resided in Tallulah for 46 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Dan Walker of Tallulah and Wallace D. Walker of Greenwell Springs; a daughter, Mrs. Mayo Cleveland of Baton Rouge; three brothers, George Mayo, A. D. Mayo of Baton Rouge and Lineous Mayo of San Antonio, Tex.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Mickey Cleveland, Richard Peeples, Daniel T. Walker, Neal Cleveland, Pete King and Stanley Harmon.
