Walker - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, November 31, 1985 Funeral services for Carlos E. Walker, 78, will be held at 10 a.m. today at the First Baptist Church of Tallulah with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Walker died Tuesday at Madison Parish Hospital after a long illness. A native of Jonesboro, Mr. Walker had resided in Tallulah for the past 55 years. He was the retired owner of Madison Insurance Agency. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, a member of the American Legion Post No. 100, the Masonic Lodge and the Eastern Star. He was a deacon of the First Baptist Church, a charter member of Tallulah Rotary Club, and a past president of Tallulah Finance Co. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ina Mae Walker; one son, Donald Walker, both of Tallulah; one brother, L. E. Walker of Winnfield; four grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Cliff C. Adams, Harvey Mounger, W. W. Ziegler, John Simpson, Ted Ivey, J. T. Fulton, Myron Erwin and D. D. Wood.
