All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Sarah Vilardo - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, February 24, 1977 Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Vilardo, 77, will be held today at 11:00 a.m. at St. Edwards Catholic Church with Father John Gayer officiating. Burial will follow in Silver Cross Cemetery under direction of Crothers Home of Tallulah. Mrs. Vilardo died Tuesday night in the Madison Parish Hospital. She was a native of Italy and had lived in Tallulah for 55 years. She was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church. Rosary services were held last night at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel. She is survived by five granddaughters: Sarah Vilardo, Harriett Vilardo, Carolyn Vilardo, Susie Vilardo and Mrs. Angela Malone; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Cleo Vilardo; and one great grandson, Harry Malone, all of Tallulah. Pallbearers will be Phillip Scurria, Anthony Scurria, Joe Scurria, Sam Scurria, Jr., Sam J. Scurria and Gary Malone.
