VanZelfden Dies Recently In Columbus, Georgia Captain Retired, Cornelius VanZelfden, 73, died last Friday in Columbus, Georgia, after a long illness. He had lived in Columbus for the past 10 years. A former resident in Tallulah, he served in World War I and II and the Korean Conflict. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Harry A. McGreggor, Sulphur, La., Miss Francis VanZelfden, Jackson, Miss., Miss Ruth VanZelfden and Mrs. Florence Kasprowiez of Grand Rapids, Michigan, one brother, A. VanZelfden, Tallulah. Funeral services were held Monday of this week in Columbus, Georgia with burial being in the Post Cemetery Fort Benning, Georgia.
