Van Zelfden Funeral services were held here Tuesday at 10 a. m. at the First Baptist Church for Andrian Van Zelfden, 68, who died Sunday night in a Natchez, Miss. nursing home after a long illness. Services were conducted by the Rev. John Hurt. Burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Van Zelfden was a native of Holland and lived in Tallulah for 37 years. He was a member of the Baptist Church, the American Legion and was a veteran of World War I. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Francis Van Zelfden of Jackson. Miss.; two sons, Gordon Van Zelfden of Winnie, Texas; and Eugene Van Zelfden of Baton Rouge; two daughters, Mrs. H. L. Polk of Baton Rouge, and Miss Patsy Van Zelfden of New Orleans; three sisters, two brothers and eight grandchildren. Pallbearers were C. Ramagos, R. G. Waugh, Gaines Byram, Maurice Ursery, Harry Vilardo, and Martin Verhagen.
