Vance - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, June 10, 1960 Former Resident Dies Thursday In Jackson Leon S. Vance, Jr., 58, died in a Jackson hospital last Thursday, June 2 following a lengthy illness. He was a former Tallulah resident. Grave side services were held Tuesday at9 a. m. in the Silver Cross Cemetery here with the Rev. A. B. Pierce officiating. Crothers funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Survivors include two brothers, Hugh Vance, Atlanta, Ga., and Kenson Vance, Perry, Ga.; three sisters, Mrs. T. P. Tormey, Albuquerque, N. M., Mrs. J. C. Pearson, Washington, D. C., and Mrs. Tom Waters, Winter Park. Fla. Pallbearers were Reid Watts, T. M. Watts, A. H. Shows and Rupert Harmon.
