All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Evelyn Jeanette Sykes Travis, Madison Parish, Louisiana From Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home, Tallulah, LA April 13, 2018 Evelyn Jeanette Sykes Travis June 13, 1935 - April 12, 2018 Evelyn was born June 13, 1935 and passed away April 12, 2018 after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be Monday, April 16, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Parkview Baptist Church in Tallulah, with Bro. Jason Lupo officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Burial will be in Silver Cross Cemetery. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Wyatt and Lucille Sykes; husbands, Charles Byrd and Ted Henrich; children, Carolyn Sue Byrd, Rhonda Byrd Bolton, and Sherri Patrice Jones; brother, Chester Sykes, and sister, Francis Dixon. She is survived by her husband of thirty-two years, Bill Travis, son and daughter in law, Sammie and Lisa Byrd, daughter and son in law, Wanda and Ray Smith, twelve grand children, eighteen great grandchildren and one on the way, five great great grandchildren, twenty one nieces and nephews, a large number of great nieces and nephews, cousins, and dear friends, Winona and Theresa Butler. Pallbearers will be David Bolton, Derrick Heard, Charlie Bolton, Joseph Vaughn, Jake Woodard, and Mike Sanders.
