Tradewell - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, April 13, 1978 Funeral services were held for a 41-year old Tallulah resident who died early Saturday when a street sweeper he was operating on south of Newellton went off of the road and overturned. Don H. Tradewell was pronounced dead on arrival at St. Charles Hospital in Newellton shortly before noon according to state police. He reportedly was operating a sweeper for Xxnrayon Construction Co., when the mishap, state police termed a "construction accident," occurred. Funeral services for Tradewell were held Monday at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Frank Shields officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. A Monroe native, Tradewell was a Korean Conflict veteran and was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Clifford of Westwood; five daughters, Mrs. Debbie Davis, Pam, Anita, and Donna Tradewell, all of Westwood, and Peggy Tradewell of Horatio, Ark.; stepmother, Mrs. Evelyn Tradewell of West Monroe: a sister, Mrs. Cynthia Morris of West Monroe; a brother Jimmy Tradewell of Little Rock, Ark.; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers included Pete Bolton Sr., Tom Byrd, Roy Reed, Randy Prewitt, Richard Marshall and Clinton Johnson.
