George Allen Townsend - Madison Parish, Louisiana

Funeral services for Mr. George Allen Townsend, 59, were held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Crothers-Glenwood 
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial was at Silver Cross Cemetery.

Mr. Townsend died Monday, March 22 at his home in Houston, Tex.

He was a middle school teacher in Houston. He was a retired Louisiana public school teacher and had 
taught in Houston for 10 years.

Survivors include one brother, Jackie E. Townsend of Tallulah; a number of cousins and two nephews.
