July 15, 1921 -- March 16, 2010 

Susie L. Tillmon, 88, of Vallejo passed away Tuesday at Windsor Care Center in Vallejo 
following a long illness. Susie was born in Tallulah, LA.

She worked as an LVN for Kaiser Hospital for 24 years.

A member of the Second Baptist Church, she enjoyed gardening, reading and playing board games.

Preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Tillmon Sr.; son, Jesse Tillmon Jr.; brothers, Edgar, 
Willie, Robert, James, Frank, Jerome, Tom and Charles Thompson; and sisters, Hazel Hodges and Daisy Johnson.

Survived by her daughter, Pearl Tillmon of Vallejo; brother, Faye Thompson (Audrey) of Vallejo; 
10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation to be held Monday, March 22, 2010, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Wiggins-Knipp Funeral Home, 
524 Capitol St., Vallejo, CA 94590. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at 
11 a.m. at Second Baptist Church, 1170 Benicia, Road, Vallejo, CA. Burial at Sunrise Memorial 
Cemetery, Vallejo, CA. Arrangements by Wiggins-Knipp Funeral Home, Vallejo, CA.
