All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Bessie Thost - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, September 4, 1975 Funeral services for Mrs. Fred Thost, Tallulah were held at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah with the Rev. ---- ----- officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery for Mrs. Thost who died early Saturday morning at the Vicksburg Hospital after long illness. She was a native of Arkansas and had lived in Madison Parish for 57 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Tallulah. Survivors include one son, Fred O. Thost of Jackson, Miss.; two daughters, Mrs. Geraldine King of Tallulah, Mrs. Harry O'Neal of Broken Bow, Okla.; one sister, Mrs. Jane Chesler of St. Louis, Mo.; five grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jim Sevier, Billy Post, Aubrey S. Ogden, Carroll Crow, Barton Sevier, and Shields Bray.
