All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************* TALLULAH — Eloyse Machen Thornton died Friday, Oct. 8, 2010 at St Francis Medical Center in Monroe. She was 90. Mrs. Thornton was born in Winnfield, La., and had lived most of her life in Tallulah. She was retired from South Central Bell and was a member of Willow Bayou Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Billy Thornton of Tallulah; three grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Willow Bayou Baptist Church with the Rev. Martin Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be tonight from 5 until 7 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Donnie Remore, Billy Joe Remore, Danny Remore, Wayne Yeates, Wayne McKnight and Derek Heard.
