Thompson Madison Parish, LA From The Madison Journal, January 19, 1929 MRS. S. R. THOMPSON On last Friday morning at 9 :00 A. M. Mrs. S. R. Thompson, wife of Mr. S. R. Thompson, an employee of P. P. Williams Co., in Tallulah, passed away at the Baptist hospital in Jackson, Miss., of pneumonia. Beside her husband, she leaves a son, Mr. Jack Thompson, and two daughters, Mrs. Sam Webster and Miss Lottie Thompson, to mourn her passing. Mrs. Thompson was 52 years old and her remains were carried to Phoenix, Miss., her childhood home, for interment. The Journal joins the entire community in extending sympathy to the bereaved family whom we know will miss her very much, but God, in infinite wisdom, saw fit to remove her from them and only time can heal a broken heart.
