All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Nellie Louise Thompson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post November 18, 2008 NEWELLTON — Nellie Louise Thompson died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008, at St. Francis Medical Center North in Monroe, La. She was 81. Mrs. Thompson was born in Charleston, Mo., and had lived in Newellton most of her life. She was a homemaker. She is survived by two daughters, Madonna Mathis and Angela Beard, both of Tallulah; three sons, Dean Clark of Evans Mills, N.Y., Mark Clark of Vidalia, La., and Rusty Bamburg of Shreveport; a sister, Pearline Corahan of Oak Grove, La.; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives, including Charles Colvin of Newellton. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Silver Cross Cemetery with the Rev. Don Thornton officiating. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah.
