Young Thompson delivered papers for his widowed mother, who is local agent for the Shreveport Times. After the truck passed they said they did not see the boy and rushed out to the road where they found his badly mutilated body. Deceased is survived by his mother, and two sisters, Mrs. W. A. Local officers learned this morning that a man was being held in Winnsboro, La., who may be the driver of the truck which killed young Thompson. The man held was said to have been driving a truck, and was alleged to have hit two autos before reaching Winnsboro. Officers left this morning for Winnsboro to see if the man held there is the one wanted here.
