All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Clifton Ray Thompson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal November 12, 1997 Funeral services for Mr. Clifton Ray Thompson, age 70, of Lake Providence, were held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, in the chapel of Cox Funeral Home in Lake Providence, with the Rev. Leslie Yates and David Barber officiating. Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Thompson died Sunday, Nov. 9, 1997, at Shady Lake Nursing Home in Lake Providence. He was born March 25, 1927 in Pioneer, La. Mr. Thompson was an auto mechanic. Survivors include his wife, Ruby "Dot" Thompson of Lake Providence; two sons, John Thompson and Bennie Thompson, both of Morganza, La.; two daughters, Debra Crawford of Coushatta, La., and Peggy McCoy of Bossier City, La.; one sister, Agnes Keller of Tallulah; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers were Robert Hernandez, Renee Hernandez. Eric Newton, Gene Crow, Tony Newton and Jerry Brown. Cox Funeral Homes of Lake Providence was in charge of arrangements.
