He was 52. Mr. Thompson was born in Delhi and had lived in Tallulah for many years. He was employed as a truck driver for Shivers Trucking. Survivors include two sons, Billy Thompson and Josh Thompson, both of Tallulah; and three brothers, Billy Clarence Thompson of Gilbert, La., Claude Bill Thompson of Tulsa, Okla. and Clifton Graham of Vivian, La. Services will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Harris Cemetery in Crowville. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Troopers say a pickup turned left into the path of the motorcycle driven by 52-year-old Billy W. Thompson on La. Highway 3202 Tuesday afternoon. Thompson was pronounced dead at the scene by the Madison Parish Coroner's Office. Troopers say the driver of the truck, 45-year-old Darryl Sandidge of Tallulah, was not injured in the crash and was cited with careless operation.
