C. Thompson Services Held Tuesday Morning Funeral services for Arthur C Thompson, 90, who died at his home here last Saturday night, were held at 10:00 a. m. Tuesday in the Tallulah Methodist Church, with the Rev. Wilson Watson officiating. Burial followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Thompson, a native of New York State, had resided in Madison Parish for the past 40 years. He formerly was in the sawmill and lumber business. Mr. Thompson was a member of the Modern Woodsmen and the Methodist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Louise Kaufman, Tallulah; two sons, Vernon R. Thompson, Tallulah, and Arthur F. Thompson, Canton, Ohio; one brother, George Thompson, Fayetteville, Ark.; one sister, Mrs. E. H. Martin, Muskegon, Mich.; and four grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were J. G. Wyly, Jr., J. W. Huckabay, C. A. Sparling, E. W. Edmonson, Herbert Massey, Cliff Adams, Woodrow Cagnolatti and L. S. Grace.
