All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Richard Thames Madison Parish, LA From Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home February 11, 2016 Funeral services for Mr. Richard Thames, age 70, of Tallulah, will be Friday, February 12, 2016, at 11:00 A.M., at the chapel at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home, with Rev. Butch Goodman officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, February 11, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., at the funeral home. Burial will be in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Richard died February 9, 2016, at a hospital in Alexandria, La., following complications from an automobile accident. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include one daughter, Kathy Schaufele, two grandchildren, Ty Schaufele and Landre Schaufele, and two sisters, Barbara Averett and Ola Thames, all of Tallulah. Mr. Thames was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Thames, his parents, Lois and Johnie Thames, and one sister, Maxine Thames of Memphis, Tn., and one brother, Robert Thames. Pallbearers will be Jason Doles, Dewey Brock, Graling Averett, Billy Smith, John Files, and Ron Bedgood. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mark Franklin, Frank Prewitt, Donnie Williams, Raymond Rios, and Kenny Smith.
