Terry - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, September 3, 1981 Services for Mrs. Mattie W. Terry were at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Crawford Williams officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Terry died Friday in Delta Haven Nursing Home after a short illness. She was a native of Yazoo County Miss. and had lived in Madison Parish for several years. She was a retired nurse and member of the Tallulah First Baptist Church. Surviviors include a daughter, Mrs. Billie T. Byram of Tallulah; a brother, Doyle Winstead of Lexington, Miss.; three sisters, Mrs. Susie Alderman of Yazoo City, Miss., Mrs. Pollie Martin of Monticello, Ark., and Mrs. Dollie Moore of Rolling Fork, Miss.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Bob Lowry, David Dawson, Jessie Newsom, J. Byram, Bob Laird and Dan Copes. The family requests that memorials be made to Tallulah Academy Delta Christian School.
