All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Lee Taylor - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal November 18, 1971 Lee Taylor rites are held here Lee Taylor, 72, of Mound, died Tuesday at a Vicksburg hospital after a long illness. A native of Franklin Parish, he had lived in Madison Parish for the past 40 years and was a member of the Baptist Church. Funeral services were at 2:30 p. m. Wednesday at Crothers Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. Carl Barnes officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Maggie Taylor; three sons; Leroy Taylor, Nolan Taylor and Frank Taylor, all of Mound; three daughters, Mrs. Estelle Nick of Vicksburg, Mrs. Barbara Reece and Miss Dora Taylor, both of Tallulah; two brothers, Napoleon Taylor, Astoria. Ill., and Ervin Taylor of Goodwill; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers were G. B. Sproles, Robert Nick, Jim Burris, Norman Ratcliff, Bobby McGrew and Jack Taylor.
