Taylor - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Evening Post January 21, 1947 JOHN A. TAYLOR DIES AT TENDAL TALLULAH, La., Jan. 21 - John A. Taylor, 70, a resident of the Tendal community west of Tallulah died at his home Sunday after an illness of two days of heart disease. He was a native of Redwood, Miss., and had resided in Madison Parish for a number of years. He was a veteran of the Spanish American War. Funeral services will be held in the family home with burial in Silver Cross cemetery here but further details are incomplete. Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah is in charge. Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, three sons, J. P. Taylor; Mark P. Taylor and Roy H. Taylor all of Waverly, four daughters, Mrs. Howard McCoy, Miss Thelma Taylor and Miss Ellen Geneva Taylor of Waverly and Mrs. E. E. Eubanks of Tallulah. A sister, Mrs. Annie O'Harra of Memphis also survives.
