Tarver - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, August 25, 1977 Funeral services for William H. Tarver, 81, of Tallulah were held Monday at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel here with the Rev. Xxxx Xxxxx officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Tarver died Saturday at his home after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Olla, a resident of Tallulah for the past 25 years, a member of Tallulah United Methodist Church and a veteran of World War I. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lucille Tarver of Tallulah; two sons, William R. Tarver of Jonesboro, Ark., and James V. Tarver of Vicksburg, Miss.; 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Will Clark, W. B. Williams, Jake Bryant, R. E. Fowler, Harry Don Morton and Bill Colligan. The family requests that any planned memorials be made to the American Lung Association.
