Strong - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, March 1, 1989 Funeral services for Mr. Benjamin F. Strong, 64, were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Parkview Baptist Church with Rev. Duewayne Tullos officiating. Masonic graveside services were held at the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Strong died Friday at the Richland Parish Hospital in Rayville following an apparent heart attack. He was a native of Dubach, a resident of Tallulah for the past 18 years and was a veteran of World War II. He was a member and past commander of the Scott-Nicols-Voak Post #100 American Legion, a member and present treasurer of the Tallulah Masonic lodge, F&AM, a member of El Karubah and a member of Parkview Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Christine Strong, three sons, Jerry Strong of Tallulah, Paul Strong of Shreveport and Ben F. Strong of Dallas; one daughter, Marie Elee of St. Xxxxxx, Fla.; one sister, Xxxxxx Campbell of Bossier City and xx grandchildren. Pallbearers were Xxxxxx Wilhite, David M. Xxxxx, Xxxxxx Bolton, Sam Xxxxxxx, Xxxxxx Fortenberry and Xxxxxx Stilwell.
