Stone - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post March 7, 2014 TALLULAH, La. — Jessie E. Stone died Tuesday, March 4, 2014, in the St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, La. He was 41. Mr. Stone was born in Memphis, Tenn., and had lived in Tallulah for 21 years. He graduated from Manila High School in Manila, Ark. and was a member of Parkview Baptist Church in Tallulah. Survivors include his father, Nicky Earl Stone of Manila, Ark.; stepmother, Paula Stone of Manila, Ark; mother, Mae Ella Stamey of Tallulah; stepfather, Charles Lee Stamey of Tallulah; one grandmother; and aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be 2 p.m., today at Parkview Baptist Church in Tallulah with Bro. Bucky Curry officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Vicksburg under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Shane Blake, Mac McCarty, Ken McKnight, David Jones, Christian Rachell, and Shelby Holmes. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Brooks, and the Friends In Christ Singing Group.
