Gene Brown officiating. Burial was at Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton. Mrs. Stewart died Friday, October 11, 1996 at Brookwood Hospital in Homewood. She was 48. She was born in Winnsboro and had lived in Tallulah for 20 years. She had lived in Homewood for two years. She was registered nurse. She was preceded in death by Jim and Leona Johnson. Survivors include her husband, Larry L. Stewart of Homewood; one daughter Amanda Whitley of Homewood; one brother, Jimmy Johnson of St. Joseph; three sisters, Mary Rushing of Jonesville, La., Betty Peters of Monroe and Daisy Boone of Newellton; one grandchild Joshua Kyle Allen of Homewood and several nieces and nephews
