Stevens - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, August 9, 1979 Funeral services for Mrs. Ida P. Stevens, of Tallulah were held Sunday in Crothers Funeral Home in Tallulah, with the Rev. Lester officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mrs. Stevens died Friday in the Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah after a long illness. She was a Mississippi native and had lived in Madison Parish for 29 years. She was a member of the Parkview Baptist Church of Tallulah. Survivors include her husband, Floyd Stevens; a brother, Jack Johnson of Urania; and two sisters, Mrs. Flossie Davis of Lake Providence and Mrs. Alice Carter of Houston, Texas. Pallbearers were the deacons of Parkview Baptist Church.
