All rights reserved. ************************************************ Dorothy Marion Williams Stamm - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, March 26, 2005 TALLULAH Dorothy Marion Williams Stamm died Friday, March 25, 2005, at Olive Branch Nursing Home in Tallulah. She was 98. Mrs. Stamm was born in Vicksburg, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter P. Williams. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Trinity and Magnolia Garden Club, where she played a key role in the club's purchase, restoration and management of Planters Hall antebellum home. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, J. Carter Stamm Sr., and one great-grandson. Survivors include one son, John C. Stamm of Vicksburg; two daughters, Dorothy Stamm Neill of Tallulah and Patricia Stamm of Vicksburg; and grandchildren, Carter Stamm of New Orleans, Story Stamm Ebersole of Vicksburg, Lauri Stamm Collins of Ridgeland, Craig Stamm and Maggie Stamm Langston, both of Dallas; Rodney Rice of Denver, Dr. Jeff Rice of Nashville, Mark Rice of Houston, Dr. James Neill of San Angelo, Texas, John Neill of Vicksburg and Patricia Neill Albrecht of Dallas; and 22 great-granchildren. Services will be at graveside Monday at Cedar Hill Cemetery at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Clifton McInnis, former rector of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Trinity, officiating. Visitation will be at Riles Funeral Home from 1 p.m. Monday until the hour of the service. Pallbearers will be grandsons and Dick Ferguson, Gary Albrecht, Bruce Ebersole, Riley Collins and Greg Langston. Memorials may be made to the Episcopal Church of the Holy Trinity, 900 South St., Vicksburg, MS 39180, or St. Aloysius High School, 1900 Grove St., Vicksburg, MS 39183.
