All rights reserved. ************************************************ Ivory Ree Stamey - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post April 20, 2001 TALLULAH - Ivory Ree Stamey died today, April 19, 2001, at ParkView Regional Medical Center. She was 71. Mrs. Stamey was a native of Myrtle and a member of Willow Bayou Baptist Church. She was a housewife and lived in Tallulah for 40 years. She is survived by her husband, Samuel David Stamey Sr. of Tallulah; three sons, Samuel David Stamey Jr. of Paradise, Texas, Jimmie D. Stamey of Vicksburg and Charles Lee Stamey of Tallulah; two daughters, Martha Satchfield of Tallulah and Francis King of Richland; and nine grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Willow Bayou Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Gaston officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 7 until 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home in Tallulah.
