All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Vivian Crawford Spinks - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, December 23, 1976 Funeral services for Mrs. Vivian Crawford Spinks, 66, of Tallulah, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church with the Revs. Xxx Xxxxx and Crawford Williams officiating. Burial was in Providence Memorial Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Spinks died Monday at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Vicksburg after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Amite, a resident of Tallulah for the past 39 years, a member of the First United Methodist Church of Tallulah, served as past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star in Tallulah in 1948, and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Survivors include two brothers, William A. Crawford of New Orleans and Harry L. Crawford of Mobile, Ala.; one nephew, Harry E. Crawford of Marietta, Ga.; two great-nieces and one great-nephew. Pallbearers were Ted Ivy, Elzie Fowler, H. S. Weaver, Alfred Holmes, M. A. Phillips, Edgar Lancaster, Barton Sevier and Billy Post.
