All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Willie Mae Spikes - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal March 24, 1993 Funeral services for Mrs. Willie Mae Spikes, 67, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bernard Duchesne officiating. Burial was at Delhi Masonic Cemetery. Mrs. Spikes died Thursday at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. She was born in Waverly and was a retired restaurant employee. She was a member of the Warsaw Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, William Hugh Andrews of Waverly; two daughters, Paula Thornton of Transylvania and Virginia Riggins of Vernon, Tex.; two brothers, Emmett Sparks of Waverly and Albert Sparks of Tallulah; three sisters, June Rhynehart and Pauline Jordan, both of Tallulah and Rita Vining of Roosevelt; eight grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Fount Fortenberry, Ricky Jordan, Ray Fairchild, Greg Paris, Charles Vining III and Benny Holloway.
