All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Mary Hawes Coleman Sparling - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, March 14, 1985 Mrs. Mary Hawes Coleman Sparling, 84, died Saturday at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Vicksburg after a short illness. Graveside services were at 4 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah with the Rev. Dan St. Andre officiating. Burial was under direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. She was a native of Nelson County, Va., and had been a resident of Tallulah for the past 55 years. She was a housewife and a member of the First Baptist Church of Tallulah, and the Daughters of the American Revolution, Lee Society and First Families of Virginia. Survivors include her husband, C. A. Sparling of Tallulah; two children; and three grandchildren.
