Sparling - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, January 7, 1987 Charles A. Sparling, 84. died last Tuesday at Madison Parish Hospital after a short illness. Graveside services were at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah with the Rev. Ramon Warren officiating. Burial was under direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. He was a native of Little Rock, Ark. and a resident of Tallulah for the past 56 years. He was a retired civil engineer, retired secretary-treasurer of the Madison Parish Police Jury and was the acting secretary-treasurer of Madison Parish Hospital Service District. He was a member of the Tallulah Methodist Church and a graduate of the University of Virginia. Survivors include one son: one daughter: three grandsons: and three great-grandchildren.
