"Teber" Smith - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, April 2, 1981 Services for William A. "Teber" Smith, 74, were Wednesday in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Crawford Williams officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Smith died Monday in Madison Parish Hospital after an illness. He was a native of Brookhaven, Miss. and a resident of Tallulah for many years and a retired postal worker. He was a retired farmer and a member of Tallulah First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Smith of Tallulah; two daughters, Mrs. Rita Ervin and Mrs. Annette Laird, both of Tallulah; a brother, Aubrey Smith of Tallulah; two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Hansen and Mrs. Jessie Smith, both of Tallulah; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers were James Reeves, Robert W. Gandy Jr., M.A. Phillips, Twiggs Bishop, John Ulmer, Dr. James E. Wall Jr. and Charlie Arneson.
